Trip Itinerary

Day #1 - Welcome to Slovenia
Transfer from Ljubljana (or by request any other) airport to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Welcome dinner in Ljubljana.
Day #2 -Chocolate and premiuim wines
The Slovenia tour will start with a visit to two wine cellars and meeting wine makers in person. During the day you will enjoy a wine at a remarkable wine cellar that received accolades and commendations for wines from all around the world. Here you’ll also discover the wine cellars – the underground pits manually dug into the million-years-old quartz sand. In between the two wine tastings, you will enjoy a lunch of local dishes. By request, it is also possible to organize a short visit to Sevnica, the birthplace of Melania Trump.
Day #3 - Underground experience
This day will start with the unique experience in the undergroud world. Ony 1000 visitors per year are allowed to join a 4h visit (partly by boat!) of exceptional cave. After lunch at the local farm, we will continue the day exploring the indigenous wines of the Karst wine region. Dinner will be served at the accommodation of the day.
Day #4 - Exploring Karst region
After breakfast of fresh local, homegrown products you will start exploring and enjoying the beauties and tastes of the Karst wine region. Visit stone-cutting workshop with a hand on experience presentation, get to know more about local herbs and taste different herbal liquors. Visit of a stone hilltop village of Stanel and lunch before heading to Vipava valley.
Day #5 - Vipava valley
Morning walk with a beautiful view over the Vipava valley. A delightful lunch with wine pairing in a small village with approximately 75 wine cellars. After short 40-minute drive you will reach the most famous wine region of Slovenia – Goriška Brda. Brda will be introduced from the lookout tower and, in the evening, it will be time to taste some local specialities accompanied by fine Slovenian wine. OPTIONAL DAY 6 – Day tour to Venice (Italy)
Day #6 - Goriska brda wine region
Exploring Goriska brda by e-bikes, olive oil tasting, visit of main attractions and of course wine tasting and enjoying great fresh local food. Overnight in Soca valley.
Day #7 - Alpe Adria Trail - Bovec
After breakfast, you will enjoy easy hiking by the beautiful Soca River gorge – the most beautiful part of the Alpe Adria Trail – 21 km. Lunch by the trail. If booked well in advance the dinner can be held in Hisa Franko, whose chef Ana Ros has been named as The World’s Best Female Chef 2017 ahead of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. Day #8 - Hiking and sightseeing
The day is dedicated to different activities on the way from Soča valley to Bohinj lake. You will visit the longest ski jumping hill, Vrsic pass, Kranjska gora, Bled with a beekeeper and final stop Bohinj lake.
Day #9 - Hiking beautiful Bohinj trails
The day you will hike with your guide the beautiful trails in the Bohinj Alps. There are numerous options so we will choose one according to your wishes and weather conditions.
Day #10 - Cycling Velika Planina Big Pasture Plateau
In the morning, you will visit Velika Planina Big Pasture Plateau on foot or with electric bikes. The activity will take approximately four hours. During your tour, you will also enjoy a lunch of products of Big Pasture Plateau – Velika Planina. In the afternoon, you will visit a Craft Brewery and taste different types of beer.In the evening time to relax and prepare for a Wrap-up dinner.
Day #11 - Departure
Breakfast at the hotel, check – out and private transfer to Ljubljana or any other airport.
