Trip Itinerary
Day #1 - Arrival
Transfer from Ljubljana or any other airport and head to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. A guided tour of the old town and a welcome dinner with wine introduction.
Day #2 -Vipava valley's premium wines
The medieval town of Vipava and its surrounding areas are the focus on the first day of the wine tour in West Slovenia. Private visit to the wine cellar and winte tasting. A guided visit to the picturesque village and a culinary experince of local food accompanied with wine degustation. Dinner with wine pairing.
Day #3 - Goriška brda experience
Enjoy the idyllic landscape, nested halfway between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea. You will meet great wine makers, enjoy their wine and relax while enjoying local gastronomy and a view over the endless vineyards, cherry orchards and olive trees. Dinner with wine tasting.
Day #4 - Discovering the flavours of Karst wine region
Visiting Štanjel stone hilltop village and taking the glimpse into the history. Vinery visit and tasting of local and itnernational wine varietals. Local lunch and a visit of the Škocjan caves – listed on the UNESCO’s list. Wrap-up dinner.
Day #5 - Departure
Breakfast at the accomodation, check – out and transfer to the airport.
