Transfer from Ljubljana (or by request any other) airport to Ljubljana, the sparkling capital of Slovenia. A guided walk through the old town. Welcome dinner.
A visit to the underground world is always something special. Postojna cave is the only cave in the world where you can enjoy the visit of the cave system by train. The cave is also home to the endemic olm (human fish) the largest troglodytic amphibian in the world. The tour through the caves includes an aquarium with some olms in it.
The temperature inside the cave is around 10 degrees Celsius. It is advisable that you bring a jacket.
Continue a day in the wine cellar and taste indigenous wines. Enjoy the beautiful views and small villages where time stops and joy starts.
In the morning, we will visit Velika Planina, Big Pasture Plateau. This magical place will impress you with its traditional huts and outdoor grazing livestock. During your walking experience, you will also enjoy nice local cheese and homemade products shepherds produce.
OPTIONAL: Instead of hiking we can also arrange tour with e-bikes.
Bled, is a popular holiday spot, where we will visit the castle and admire the lake with the island in the middle. Optional is a pletna drive to Bled Island and ring the bell of wishes – who knows maybe your wish will come true – It is worth trying :)
We will stop at the Bee tourist farm close to Bled where you will learn more about beekeeping in Slovenia and taste different bee products.

Goriška Brda is Slovenia's most famous wine district. Its idyllic landscape, nestled halfway between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea, an abundance of beauties, and extreme winemakers are a true wine attraction. Goriska Brda wine region has the highest yield per hectare of international awards of all Slovenian wine-growing areas.
We will start the visit with the Gonjače lookout tower offering a superb view over the endless vineyards, cherry orchards, and olive trees. In Smartno, a walled settlement filled with narrow streets and artisan shops selling seasonal local food and crafts, we will enjoy an olive oil tasting. Proceed with a glimpse insight into the history of winemaking in Slovenia and prepare your taste buds to enjoy fine Slovenian wines.

Walking one of the most beautiful parts of Alpe-Adria trail to admire the emerald Soca River. After breakfast, we will have a short drive to the beginning of your Alpe Adria trail. It takes 6h with no stops for lunch and photography (otherwise approx. 8h of easy walking on the well-marked path). You will enjoy the beautiful Soča river gorge.
If booked well in advance the dinner can be held in Hisa Franko, whose chef Ana Ros has been named as The World's Best Female Chef 2017 ahead of The World's 50 Best Restaurants. Please send an inquiry to consult before you book.
Breakfast at the hotel, check-out, and private transfer to Ljubljana airport.
