After we arrive and settle, we’ll take some time to get to know each other and go through the program of our cycling week. We will also examine and test the cycling equipment, and rest after dinner.
Blegos is the highest mountain of Skofja Loka hills and the view from the top is worth every step! We start in the village of Gorenja Zetina and soon continue on a shady forest path. At the foot of Blegos we have a choice of two routes: a steeper, but shorter and more demanding ascent, or a longer, gentler path. On both paths, you have the opportunity to enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding hills. Above the tree line, the view is truly breathtaking, and on clear days even the Triglav National Park can be seen. We take a longer descent, enjoying the scenery and often stopping at a mountain hut for refreshments before returning to Gorenja Zetina, where we have lunch at the Turistic farm.
